ABOUT US

About Us

We are a community interest company set up with the help and support of the Tendring Community.

Based in Tendring, North East Essex, we work with clients from Colchester to the Suffolk border and all the villages in between that make up the Tendring District.

We offer unique intervention services, many of which are not available on the NHS.

Our Vision for the future of mental health for those living and working in Tendring

Comprising a multi-disciplinary team with specialists in the respective fields of education, emotional and mental health, psychotherapy and youth work, we can offer remote (phone / virtual) and in person support where appropriate.

Our focus centres on providing early intervention for children, young people, families and marginalised communities across the region.

In addition, we support male mental health, non-binary, LGBTQ+ community and those in later life.

We believe that the emotional health of children, young people and their families is essential to harmony at home, in school and in the wider community.

Specialist support can be provided to families with SEN children and we have the ability to make referrals to medical professionals based on assessment and ongoing support.

The call to build a community interest company went out in May 2021 and within 2 days we had 150 communications regarding help advice and collaborations
This really is a labour of love for all of us.   We are delighted to now have our own counselling room at our new office based in Thorpe -le-Soken, with access to alternative settings for our educational workshops and services
